Keeping Your Drinking Water Safe

If your drinking water is supplied by a private well, it is important to have the well tested annually for Total Coliform/E.coli, Nitrate-N, Nitrite-N or any other contaminants that may be hazardous to your health. We encourage anyone to use our water testing services to ensure that your drinking water is safe and contaminant-free.

When Should I Have My Water Tested?

Below is a list of common water tests, however additional testing is also available by request.

  • You notice a change in your water’s appearance, smell or taste

  • You encounter problems like a broken well cap

  • Possible contamination in or at your well

  • Visitors, or anyone that does not regularly use your well, experience illness after drinking from your well

  • An infant is drinking from your well

  • You find a need to monitor your water treatment equipment’s performance

  • Monitoring equipment after treatment of your drinking water system
